As FIFA’s Marketing Director, Jean-François leads all facets of FIFA’s marketing strategy and partner relationship management. He is also responsible for FIFA’s Brand Marketing strategy as well as FIFA’s Digital Marketing and Experiential Marketing roadmap, with a focus on fostering successful collaborations, accelerating innovation, growing a deeper connection with FIFA’s audience and moving the dial on all fronts. Originally studying XVIIIth Century History in his native South of France, he moved to London to embark on an international career in Sports Marketing at leading companies including Leo Burnett (London), Eurosport TV (London), UEFA (Switzerland) and IMG/Endeavor (USA). After four years spent in San Francisco working on IMG’s football portfolio and helping shape Visa’s global football sponsorship strategy, he joined FIFA’s commercial division ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. During his tenure, he has managed a wide range of core commercial projects such as eSport, licensing, ticketing, hospitality and marketing operations. Outside of the football world, Jean-François is a keen sailor, skier and surfer, loves music and enjoys traveling the World with his family.
