Bio

Being one of the most influential players in women’s tennis since a decade, Elina Svitolina is also the most famous athlete in Ukraine where she became a star after winning the WTA Finals in 2018 and the bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games. Her impressive track record also includes 17 career titles and a #3 career-high WTA ranking, with a 5-year continuous stay in the world’s Top 10. In addition to her successful sporting career, Elina Svitolina is eager to make the most of her influence as a top class tennis player to bring about positive change in Ukraine, leaning on her 1,5M social media community. In 2019, she decided to launch the “Elina Svitolina Foundation” with the mission of helping talented children to learn, through tennis, the values of hard work, self-discipline, and the importance of giving 100% every day. In these times of war, the Elina Svitolina Foundation, in addition to supporting local humanitarian programs, is now providing the necessary support for Ukrainian tennis young talents and their families to leave the country and establish in academies throughout Europe, allowing them to safely continue training and therefore, pursue their dreams of tennis during these terrible times. Elina Svitolina speaks 3 languages and is currently learning French. As she grew up, she admired tennis legend Andre Agassi. Her main hobbies are learning about business and economics but also studying nutrition.
