Bio

Pierre Rabadan was born on July 3, 1980 and grew up in Aix en Provence. He started rugby at the age of 14 at the PARC club (ex - Aix Rugby Club) and arrived at the Stade Français in 1998, a club with which he was French Junior Champion in 1999. With the Stade Français, he was 5 times French champion (2000, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2015). As an international player, he was selected for the first time for the French team in 2004. He will also play many matches with the French Barbarians. At the same time, Pierre Rabadan studied journalism at the CFPJ and trained at Sciences Po. He has been involved for many years in the associative world, he has been involved with the association Un Maillot pour la vie, has been a volunteer at the Restos du Coeur and has been very involved with Sport sans frontières (now Play International). Elected for 12 years to the steering committee of the players' union (Provale), he has also been an entrepreneur and a corporate trainer and speaker. In 2015, after 17 seasons at the Stade Français, he retired as a sportsman and joined Anne Hidalgo's firm as a sports consultant. It is within this framework that he led the Paris bid for the JOP 2024 alongside the Mayor of Paris, as well as all the major sporting events of Anne Hidalgo's first term of office. In 2020, he decided to run for the Paris En Commun lists in the 14th arrondissement. He was elected Paris Councillor and Metropolitan Councillor on 28 June 2020 and appointed Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of sport and the Olympic and Paralympic Games on 3 July 2020.
