Mr. Jean-François BROCARD is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan and holds a degree in economics and management. He is a Doctor in Economics and an Associate Professor at the University of Limoges, member of the research team of the Centre de Droit et d’Economie du Sport (CDES), and specialized in the analysis of professional sport. In 2012, he defended his doctoral thesis entitled “The intermediation of the labour market of professional athletes”. He is strongly involved in academic research in sports economics through his commitment as Secretary General of the International Association of Sports Economists (IASE) and the association Dynamique Economique du Sport (DESport). He is also the author of numerous articles on the regulation of professional sport and co-author of the book “Sports agents and labour markets.
