Bio

General Delegate to the Olympic and Paralympic Games and Major Events since February 2021. A graduate of the Institut d'études politiques (IEP) in Paris and the Institut des hautes études internationales in Paris, Ivoa ALAVOINE is a lawyer by training. After a first professional experience as a lawyer with RTE (EDF Group), she joined the law firm Lyon-Caen Thiriez in 2008 where she practised as a lawyer at the Paris Bar. At the same time, she taught public applied law from 2008 to 2010 at the IEP in Paris. In 2013, Ivoa ALAVOINE joined the City of Paris as legal advisor to the Mayor of Paris, before being appointed, in December 2014, deputy director of the cabinet of Anne HIDALGO, Mayor of Paris. Ivoa ALAVOINE was, since 2017, Director of Legal Affairs.
