Bio

Tony Estanguet was born on May 6, 1978 in Pau. He holds a Professorship in Sport and a Masters in Marketing sports and corporate strategies at ESSEC. Sport Awards – Canoeing / Slalom (C1) : ▪ Triple Olympic Champion (2000, 2004, 2012) ▪ Triple World Champion (2006, 2009, 2010) ▪ Triple European Champion (2000, 2006, 2011) ▪ 15 World Cup victories First Frenchman since France’s first participation in the Modern Games (1896) to win three Olympic titles during three different Olympiads, Tony Estanguet is today President of the organization Committee of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. His ambition: to open the doors of the Games to enable every French to live this experience. Convinced that sport changes lives, he is also a daily sports activist who is committed to sharing his unique power with as many people as possible.
