Bio

Jo is a British Basketball player who has represented Great Britain in 3 EuroBasket Championships, 1 Olympic Qualifier 2020 and the London 2012 Olympics. Prior to turning pro, she was a 4 year NCAA athlete at a Division 2 school where she achieved many accolades and became the only athlete from that division to be drafted into the WNBA in 2010. She is an 11 year professional player who has won championships and cups in France, Poland and Great Britain. Jo has played in EuroLeague Women for 8 seasons and EuroCup Women for 2, and eventually won the EuroCup with Bourges in 2016, and then went on to become the first non French Captain of this prestigious team a year later. Jo is known for her passion, energy and relentless approach towards basketball. Her leadership skills and tenacious attitude has allowed her to play at the most elite and professional level for her entire career, whilst always remaining to be a well respected athlete and teammate amongst her peers. After giving birth to daughter Isla in March 2021, she returned to the court making a huge impact and breaking records in the EuroCup competition and domestic league with British side London Lions. Her hopes are that with such an incredible season, the sport will continue to develop and grow within Britain and change the lives of others as it has hers.
