Amputated from four limbs after meningitis at the age of 6, Théo Curin joined the France handisport swimming pole in Vichy at the age of 13 and took part in his first French Championships. In November 2021, he completed a new challenge, 108 km of crossing Lake Titicaca in extreme conditions in total autonomy with Malia Metella, Olympic vice-champion, and eco-adventurer Matthieu Witvoet, after 14 months of preparation.
Along with his career as a top athlete, Theo is a lecturer, TV and Radio columnist, model (he has just become a world ambassador for Biotherm and launched his own collection with Lacoste) and now an actor. He plays the lead role in the TV movie «handi gang» alongside Alessandra Sublet, which will be broadcast on TF1 on May 2. He also played in the series Plus belle la Vie.
