Bio
Cedric Borremans oversees the Toyota contribution to the Olympic and Paralympic Games of Paris 2024, as part of TMC (Toyota Motor Corporation) partnership with IOC and IPC.
Cedric received a master’s degree in business administration (Commercial Engineer) at the Solvay Brussels Management School – Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 1998.
Cedric started his professional career at PwC (PriceWaterhouseCoopers) specialised in SAP ERP implementation (of which 2 years in Tokyo Japan for client ExxonMobil). After 5 years as Principal Consultant at PwC, Cedric joined Toyota Motor Europe in 2003.
Cedric has been holding multiple assignments in TME in Brussels (Toyota Motor Europe), in Business Strategy as well as Sales and Marketing Divisions. This includes a 3-year assignment in Toyota France as head of Product & Pricing. Cedric was a driving force behind the creation of the new company Toyota Fleet Mobility end of 2018, a JV of Toyota Financial Services Corporation Japan and TME, later becoming Kinto Europe.
Since January 2019 Cedric is leading the TME Olympics and Paralympics division, initially from Tokyo, where he joined TMC to learn from Toyota’s contribution to the Tokyo 2020 Games. Since September 2020 Cedric is in Paris.
Cedric joined the BOD of Hysetco (Hydrogen Asset Company – Hydrogen Stations and Hydrogen Vehicles for H2 Taxi’s in Paris and France – Toyota France is an investor, together with Air Liquide and Total Energies as major partners) in December 2019 in view of creating synergies with Toyota H2 vision for Paris 2024.
Cedric was one of the driving forces behind the TME capital investment in French Start-up EODev ( Energy Observer Developments www.eo-dev.com )in 2021.
Subsequently, Cedric also joined the BOD of EODev. EODev develops and industrializes sustainable, reliable, and affordable hydrogen-based energy solutions. EODev is producing Hydrogen Generators for stationary usage as well as on board solutions for zero-emission navigation for boats, using the Toyota Fuel Cell.
