Bio
Born in 1952, François Albert AMICHIA holds a PhD in contemporary history from the University of Nice in France.
He was Minister of Sport from 2002 to 2003, then from 2015 to 2018, and finally Minister of the City from 2018 to 2021.
Since 1996 he has been continuously elected Mayor of the Municipality of Treichville.
On June 14, 2021, the President appointed him as President of the Organizing Committee of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
