Bio

Sport is in her DNA, indeed she has been a basketball player since the age of ten. After graduating from the Language School in Seregno (MI), she dedicated herself to professional basketball: first with the black jersey of Pool Comense (the most titled Italian team at national level and one of the best 4 at European level) then with the orange one of the Famila Basket Schio (winning 10 championships in 15 years and playing the role of captain for 9 years). Named "Player of the decade 2000-2010", she also became captain of the Senior National Team, with which she played 203 games and she scored more than 1700 points. In the meantime she graduated in "Legal Sciences" at Uninsubria University of Como and subsequently obtained a Master in "Leadership and Management" at Northumbria Business University in Newcastle, UK. After a summer internship at Banca Alto Vicentino di Schio, she decided to get in the front line and to dedicate herself and take care of the basketball players and their rights, joining the board of directors of GIBA (Italian association of basketball players). She then broadened her horizons, becoming the current President of the Athletes Commission of the CONI (of which she is also a member of the National Council), promoting initiatives that concern the development and promotion of resources for all athletes, at institutional, university, corporate, federal level, for example: health and well-being, social media, career preparation and management, dual career, maternity fund for athletes and more. She also obtained the certificate of "Talented Athletes lifestyle support advisor" (TALS, UK), thanks to which he can exercise the role of 360-degree manager of athletes. In addition to these positions, she also works as Team Manager of the Women’s A Series of Famila Basketball, and she is a member of the FIBA world players association (World Association players/ women’s basketball). Last summer, she participated as an Ambassador for the Italian Olympic Committee at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
